When you register and use the site, we collect: email address, username, password (bcrypt-encrypted), surf level, boards (quiver), surf sessions, comments, photos, favorite spots, last login date.
3. Purposes
Your data is used exclusively for: account management, personalising your experience (recommendations, condition alerts), displaying your sessions and photos.
4. Retention Period
Your data is retained for the duration of your account. It is fully deleted within 72 hours of account deletion.
5. Your Rights
Under GDPR, you have the following rights: right of access (data export from your profile), right to rectification (edit in your profile), right to erasure (delete account in your profile), right to data portability (JSON download from your profile). 6. Cookies
The site uses a single authentication cookie (ozi-token, HTTP-only, 7-day duration). This cookie is strictly necessary for the service and does not require consent. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.
7. Hosting
The site is self-hosted on a private server located in France. No data is transmitted to third parties.
